I was tagged this morning by my sister-in-law, Shaleece. The object of this tag is to list 6 Quirks that make you who you are, so here I go...
1- I have to group like things together on the conveyor belt when I am checking out. Cold things together, clothes together, hygiene products together etc. Richard loves to mess with me and watch me get frustrated, by putting things up in a random order or by moving things around.
2- Some of you (my Canadian friends) may find this next one "normal". But since I am American born some people think I am quirky when I use the word "eh" or tell you to meet me in the Foyer, but it sounds like Foy-yay.
3-Going to bed in messy sheets. My bed rarely gets made. (I know- GASP!) This is not because I am a lazy slob, I love a made bed. It is usually because I get up before anyone else and there is still a child or sometimes, if I'm lucky, even my husband still sleeping there. And by the time I get back to it, either now a child is napping there or it is time to go to bed. Another reason may be that my bedspread is "Dry clean only" and with all the leaky sippycups, diapers, and sticky fingers in my house, it doesn't stand a chance. I do hope someday it will see the light more often than when we company:0). But every night before I can go to sleep I have to straighten everything out just like it was made all day long!
4-The first thing I do when I wake up is brush my teeth. I don't even wait until I've had breakfast. I can't stand the feeling of morning breath and don't want to kill anyone with the smell.
5-When Richard is gone I usually go to sleep with the TV on. I don't want to hear any noises that might spook me!
6- I like to eat dinner leftovers for breakfast. When I was younger I used to microwave onions with butter and salt on them for breakfast or have mozzarella sticks dipped in peanut butter.
Well, that's me. Hope I haven't scared you off.
Now I tag...
Margaret
Carrilyne
Chastina
Alisa
& anyone else who wants to put themselves out there!

Catching up with Communication Technology
These last few weeks have been very educational for me. I am a bit technophobic and thus a bit behind on the times. It all started when Misty invited me to visit her profile on Facebook. Well, to see her profile, I had to create one of my own. It just "snowballed" from there. Next thing I knew, I was IMing with friends from long ago. I haven't really IMed much before so it was a thrill to be keeping in touch without awkward telephone calls or lengthy e-mails. My next lesson came from Carrilyne and my 14 yr old neighbor, Vanessa. I have rarley seen Carrilyne "talk" on her phone, her fingers do the talking by texting. I have told her "someday" you will have to teach me how to do that. "Someday" came last week when she demanded my phone and showed me how to get started and has put up with my slow responses by letting me practice texting to her (THANKS GIRL, you are the best!). Then Vanessa taught me some tricks so I could do it faster, all the while giggling at me. I know, how lame having to have a 14 yr old teach you something. But, I am loving my new non verbal communication techniques!! Richard laughs at me because I get so excited. I was so proud that last night I was able to set up a meeting with 2 other people without saying a word! So cool! So that really leaves only one big communication techno thing left.... A BLOG! So here I am..... finally blogging. At first, I think I was resistant to getting a blog because "everyone else was doing it". And my mom always told me "if everybody else jumped off a cliff would you too?" Now it has just gotten to the point that it seems like I am the only person who is NOT blogging, and I really hate being left out! So I won't make any promises. Only that I will do the best that I can and hopefully, they all won't be as long as this!
