Speaking of being trust-a-ful....let me show you a face that is not.
This is what happens to a face, along with her new white t-shirt and my bed sheets, when a non trust-a-ful 3 year old who is supposed to be going to sleep gets a hold of a red permanent marker.
Did I mention the ink was permanent?
And on my sheets?
And her new shirt?
(Insert scream of insanity here.)
It's a good thing she's cute and my only girl, so I've decided to forgive her.
I've also decided to never let her do my make-up.

Oh no! I've found liquid soap (like Dawn) and a lot of scrubbing with a wash cloth can clean permanent marker off of skin. Good luck with the shirt and sheets!
Hairspray works wonders on permanent marker. Good luck!
Save the sheets and shirt in a box…then give the sheets to her when she goes to college and the shirt when her first kid does something like this and she's telling you about how frustrating it is.
Ah, memories.
Haha! I mean, how frustrating. hehehhe. Just look at those eyes. That girl could get away with anything with that face.
Awesome.
Over at our house we had a similar experience this morning - only it was Little O who was the guilty party and he drew all over Princess' sheets, arms and FACE while she slept through it last night (luckily not with permanent marker, though!)
Note to self: keep all writing utensils out of the reach of Little O.
Oh Nat!!!! Kathy V. says not to get mad but to get out the camera.....
We've had the same thing happen over here except with black on the new leather couch.......
Such a cute face though!!!
I can laugh myself silly because it wasn't my stuff!
LaRae
oh. bummer. ;) but she is such a doll. good thing too!
LOL. My Char? She DREW HER SKELETON - ON her body. With black permanent marker. She must have been four. She knew where all the bones were, so I suppose I have to have some respect for her efforts. But really? ALL OVER HER BODY? The black eventually turned green.
My security word? dicarefl. Somehow, it fits.
kristen, it was part of the homeschool lesson. did you miss the memo?
That is hilarious. Or not, depending on whose perspective is observing...
she is cute...and well aware of it... ;)
Gerb--too funny. Must've been marker day.
