Ahhh, To Be a Kid Again...

This is just one of the many reason why I think it would be fun to be able to travel back in time and be a child again....

Laundry could be considered fun again......but unlike Ben, hopefully, I would retain some of my adult smarts and know better about wanting to stick my head into a functioning dryer.

Who knew a broken dryer could be so entertaining?

For them and me.

I could see Ben climbing in to "go for a ride." I love warm clean clothes! Now if I could only find someone to do it for me so I could just enjoy it.

Something tells me you had a happy childhood, right? With wanting to return back to it? That's great....what a tribute to your parents and what they did for you.

How'd you do that? You have no idea--I could sit for hours and watch a dryer do that.

Chastina, You know Ben all too well.

Empress, I did have a happy childhood. I escaped a lot into the stories in my head. If you can do that anything is bearable.

Carrilyne, It was fun seeing just what a kick they got out of it.

Misty, I thought the same thing. I also found it interesting that Emma kept grabbing things out to fold and put away. The boys on the other hand, just kept throwing them back in.

Lyndee, The little lever that senses when the door is closed is broken, so I have to jam things up there to make it work...even when the door is open. The round and round is kind of mesmerizing isn't it?

Marseille, Refer to my response to Lyndee. Yes, normally they are supposed to stop when the door is open, but when have I ever done anything the normal way? ;)

Hi! :D This brings back a memory for me. When I was a kid I was looking for a place to hide during "hide and go seek." I heard the dryer going and the idea came to mind that it would be a great place to hide. So I took out the clothes, hid them, and climbed inside. Soon however, my mom walked by and realized the dryer wasn't running, so she turned it on. I still remember turning ever so slowly as the bars inside hit my body one after the next. I called out; but my voice had difficulty getting the sound out as if it were in slow motion..."h....el....p...!"
It took about 30 seconds for help to arrive, by which time my body had turned about 3/4 the way around (remember, it went round much faster than I did, and spanked me repeatedly with each bar inside as it went by me, save the few which caught hold of me and moved me a few inches). It was quite the freaky - and cool - experience! :) Your kids seemed to be having fun, but I think I have your kids experience beat by just a little. ;) :O LOL TTFN... Corine

Oh, that is hilarious. Does it actually manage to get the clothes dry like that, or does it just tumble and tumble them...?

I can't believe you didn't let Ben get in!! There were soft clothes in there...... :D

New dryer in the works? Or is Richard as frustrating as The SM and can fix anything and everything so you rarely get new things? :D
