Family Photos

After 2 plus years of forgoing family pictures we recently had some taken. I am thrilled with what we ended up with and since they say that a picture is worth a thousands words, I'll shut up and let them speak for themselves.

 That's not all folks.
You have to click here to head over to the blog of the photographer to see the rest.

Okay! Natalie, maybe your headache got to you, or your battery is running low. These turned out beautiful. I love them. I have to say the ones of Ben, totally capture his personality.

The picture with all three of the boys is my favorite. I couldn't help but chuckle out loud. And on a side note, you are a saint. I can't believe you drove all the way to my parent's house. Who does that?!! Only the most overly wonderful of people. Thank you! You are one of the most genuinely kind person I know. That sentence sounds weird. Regardless, you are awesome.

Sheece, I finally got them to load right and they actual appeared on the post! I think it was a combo of head + battery. Most definitely.

I love them too and totally agree about Ben. He was funny to watch when we had them done. He completely loved having his picture taken, so I think it captured more of who he really is. There was nothing put on about him.

Lyndee,
That pic of the boys is classic and so them!

I loved the drive yesterday! The leaves were all in perfect fall splendor with the cottonwoods in the river bottoms decked out in bright gold. They looked like they were on fire in the afternoon sun. I was in heaven. I was on my way to Ogden for a nephew's sealing and taking the back way was so refreshing. I wished I would've taken it on the way back when I got stuck in an hour long construction traffic jam. :(

Wonderful shots, Natalie! Your photographer friend did an awesome job. Your family did an even better one, after all…what could a photographer do if he didn't have people to take photos of?

It's funny to see yourselves, all quiet and holding still, faces all pointed in the same direction. Different from real life. The children all clean and dressed like humans. A frozen moment in the middle of what is really a headlong rush.

Hope you guys had fun tonight. Wish we'd been there.
